Donnelly College Scholarship Honors Sister Mary Teresa Morris 

Sister Mary Teresa Morris, a dedicated nurse and educator, left a lasting legacy in healthcare and education. To honor her, the Sister Mary Teresa Morris Nursing Scholarship was established at Donnelly College. This endowment supports first-generation nursing students, empowering them to become compassionate healthcare professionals in her spirit of service.

Mount Welcomes Benedictine College Students 

Benedictine College students have been actively involved with the Mount during the 2024-2025 school year through nursing clinicals, volunteer projects, the Prayer Partner Program, and Mass Communications service learning. These collaborations include assisting with daily needs, organizing events, and promoting spiritual and environmental initiatives at Mount St. Scholastica.

A Story of Empowerment from Keeler Women’s Center

Elizabeth Garcia Aguilar found a supportive community at Keeler Women's Center (KWC) after moving to Kansas City in 2021. Through her involvement in various programs, she gained confidence, learned English, and later secured a full-time position as a nutrition assistant. Elizabeth's leadership was recognized with a Certificate of Recognition in 2024.

CLAR Invites Religious To Be Sentinels of Hope

The Latin American Confederation of Religious Conference in Argentina brought together over 1,000 participants to address key challenges in religious life, including inequality, aging communities, and declining vocations. Speakers emphasized hope through strategic downsizing, collaboration, and justice work, urging attendees to embrace change and serve as sentinels of hope in their communities.
