Donors Help Us Replace Our Monastery Roof 

We are grateful to our donors who have contributed funds to replace the roof of our monastery and Choir Chapel. This six-month project, which began in March 2025, is being performed by Seaman-Schuske Metalworks of St. Joseph, Missouri. The roof was last replaced in 1999. Thanks to new technology, more durable and flexible 50-year shingles are now available, so we shouldn’t have to replace the roof again until 2075! 

Many sisters have watched, heart in mouth, as workers have nimbly scrambled over the roof of our four-story buildings while carrying heavy materials in the summer heat. These workers, along with other people whose jobs can be dangerous, have been in our prayers.
