Gifts of the Season

We turn the calendar to October, a month of golden beauty as the leaves are turning. The days are getting shorter, and nights are getting cooler. As we drive along country roads, we see farmers in the fields harvesting crops. Along with the changing seasons and transition into the final months of the year comes the time to invite you to support the ministry of Sophia Center through our annual Night of Dreams. We are blessed to be able to offer programming at Sophia and at Keeler Women’s Center because of the unwavering sponsorship of the Benedictine Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica and the many benefactors who support our work by participating in this special event.

Our Night of Dreams fundraiser will be held on November 10 at the beautiful Loew’s Hotel in Kansas City, MO. It is a magical night and we would love to have you join us. All monies directly support Sophia Spirituality Center, Keeler Women’s Center, and Dooley Center. Consider purchasing a ticket for yourself, invite a friend or bring a group. Tickets are $175 for one person or $1750 for a table. The meal will be delicious! You may also support us by purchasing one or more tickets for a drawing where several lucky people will win cash prizes. Tickets for the drawing are $25 for one ticket, or five for $100. We have them on hand at Sophia, or you can purchase them on the Mount website. Another way you can participate is through our NOD auction. We have a silent auction in which many of the items are made by the sisters, as well as a live auction featuring wonderful trips and other large items. Visit our Night of Dreams page for all of the details.
