Hats for the Homeless from the Knitting & Crocheting Group

The Knitting & Crocheting Group at Keeler Women’s Center is preparing hats for the winter months. Every winter at Keeler Women’s Center we distribute hats, gloves and scarfs to walk-in people in need. We also share our donations with other local agencies and clinics that provide services to low-income and homeless families. Last year with the cold weeks, we ran out of our stock of winter hats and thanks to a donation of yarn, now the Knitting & Crocheting group is donating their time and talents to supply the need in preparation of this winter.

Other group members are making some twin size blankets.
