Keeler Receives Service Award
On October 25, 2024, Keeler Women's Center (KWC) received the Mark Dupree/Mayor Tyrone Garner Dedicated Service Award from Friends of Yates. The award recognizes KWC's ongoing support for domestic violence survivors and their children through support groups, financial assistance, hygiene products, and book donations.

A Story of Empowerment from Keeler Women’s Center
Elizabeth Garcia Aguilar found a supportive community at Keeler Women's Center (KWC) after moving to Kansas City in 2021. Through her involvement in various programs, she gained confidence, learned English, and later secured a full-time position as a nutrition assistant. Elizabeth's leadership was recognized with a Certificate of Recognition in 2024.
