Sister Barbara Conroy

Among my various ministries, I provide pastoral care for the residents in Dooley Center at Mount St. Scholastica. I am also Oblate director for the group that meets in St Joseph, Missouri. I also previously ministered as bereavement coordinator for Mosaic Hospice in St. Joseph, Missouri, and as a high school religion and psychology teacher.

Working with the residents in Dooley Center enriches my community and prayer life. Being a sister in the same community allows me to have deep and challenging conversations about our monastic life. I also am blessed to hear the good ol’ stories.
