Sister Suzanne Fitzmaurice, OSB

Sister Suzanne has served as a youth minister, area director with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and a director of youth ministry. Since joining the Benedictines at Mount St. Scholastica, she served as campus minister at Notre Dame de Sion High School, then taught at Cristo Rey High School, Kansas City, before joining Keeler Women’s Center as associate director.
She has ministered as the IT and hospitality coordinator at Sophia Spirituality Center, computer IT support specialist at the monastery and as the Monastic Congregation of St. Scholastica webmaster. After studying for a year in County Cork, Ireland, she graduated from the University College of Cork in March 2024 with a master’s degree in Beginnings of Irish Christianity. She currently is the director of monastic temporalities.
