After entering the Mount community, Sister Elaine served the Atchison community as an emergency medical technican and firefighter.  She has since served in maintenance at the Mount, and is currently the maintenance director.  Additionally, she is a member of both the Mount and Monastic Congregation of St. Scholastica councils.  She also enjoys carpentry and gardening.  Her favorite saint is St. Joseph.
