The Holy in Poetry—Exploring How the Poet Conveys the Divine
The Holy in Poetry—Exploring How the Poet Conveys the Divine
July 28 @ 9:30 am – 3:30 pm CDT

Poetry distills pieces of truth we have discovered in the living of life. In its succinct, vivid language, poetry gives us space to sense the truth before intellectually acknowledging it. Poetry often reveals what is sacred and holy, thus speaking of the divine whether the poet names God or not. Join us in exploring how the divine shines through poetry.
“Every single soul is a poem.” —Michael Franti
