Saint Andrew the Apostle is the patron saint of many things, including Scotland, Fishermen, Greece, Russia, and Patras. In addition, he is the patron saint of singers, spinsters, maidens, women wishing to become mothers, gout, and sore throats. He is also invoked against cramps, convulsions, dysentery, fever, neck pain, and whooping cough.
