St. Teresa of Ávila, a Carmelite nun and mystic, devoted her life to prayer and reform. Her writings, including The Interior Castle, continue to inspire people seeking intimacy with God. Despite illness and trials, she pressed forward with humor, courage, and determination, reminding us that prayer is a journey into the depths of the soul. She is the patron saint of those struggling with headaches and illness, and also of Spain. As a Doctor of the Church, her wisdom teaches us to seek God above all and to allow His love to transform our lives.
