The Feast of Saint Charles Borromeo

St. Charles Borromeo was a reformer who lived the Gospel with bold conviction. As Archbishop of Milan, he restored discipline among clergy, educated the poor, and cared for the sick during plague and famine. Though born into wealth, he lived simply and placed the needs of others before his own comfort. His courage shaped the renewal of the Church after the Council of Trent. Today we honor his dedication to faith in action and his reminder that leadership, when rooted in humility and service, builds up the Body of Christ.
