Ireland is a nation rich of faith, determination, resilience and care for the earth and each other. This is expressed in many ways but most clearly through the lives of the early women saints. Come learn more about four of the early Irish Women Saints: Samthann, Darerca, Ita and Gobnait.

Sr. Suzanne Fitzmaurice
Sister Suzanne has served as campus minister at Notre Dame de Sion High School, then taught at Cristo Rey High School, Kansas City, before joining Keeler Women’s Center as associate director. In addition, she has ministered as the IT and hospitality coordinator at Sophia Spirituality Center, computer IT support specialist at the monastery and as the Monastic Congregation of St. Scholastica webmaster. After studying for a year in County Cork, Ireland, she graduated from the University College of Cork in March 2024 with a master’s degree in Beginnings of Irish Christianity. She currently is the director of monastic temporalities.
