Learn about this incredible woman who was born a slave, became a resilient pioneer woman, and was the first African American woman to receive a Star Route carrier contract for the U.S. Post Office.  How it all started from her connection with the Ursuline Sisters.

Connee has served in a variety of ways throughout the years. She joined KWC as a community partner when she worked with women on parole. Conne has always enjoyed our Create Beautiful Cards class and now has volunteered to serve as a leader. She also volunteers as a tutor for our Easy English Program and our Amazing Women Series.
