Pope St. Leo the Great led with wisdom and courage at a time of crisis for the Church. His words defended the truth of Christ’s divinity and humanity, and his compassion guided the faithful through political turmoil. When Rome faced invasion, Leo met with Attila the Hun and convinced him to spare the city — not by power, but by faith. His writings continue to inspire courage and clarity. May we, too, be peacemakers who lead with conviction and gentleness, trusting that God’s grace is stronger than any fear.
