Contemplative Mandalas (on-site)

March 14, 2024 | Thursday 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. CDT

facilitated by Sharon Highberger
Cost: $75 (supplies included)

While we know many types of prayer such as spiritual reading, Lectio Divina, liturgies, and contemplative prayer, few are aware of praying with the spiritual art of the mandala.  The Contemplative Mandala workshop introduces a method of prayer that is—as all prayer is—relational, healing, and insightful. One need not know how to draw, for all that becomes in the created piece is the work of the Spirit. The Contemplative Mandala reveals the beauty of our inner being.  This prayer art method was introduced to Sharon on a silent retreat and since then has remained a deeply personal experience of intimacy with the Spirit through the years.  You are invited to explore the mandala art prayer in the sacred space of the Sophia Center.

Please register by March 7. Once we have received your registration, we will send you an invoice for the retreat. Please know we have scholarships available; if you would like to make a request, email S. Carol Ann at sophia@mountosb.org. We strongly encourage you to add sophia@mountosb.org to your email contacts to ensure the delivery of emails regarding your retreat. We look forward to welcoming you.
