“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.” – Annie Dillard

Consumer culture has warped our sense of time. It is something we all relate to, and often struggle with. We talk about spending time, not having enough time, or time management. Benedictine spirituality, from The Rule of St. Benedict and lived through the centuries, offers us a different relationship with time. In this retreat, we will explore some of the values of Benedictine spirituality through music and the expressive arts, which help us to be present in unique ways, and open us to a greater understanding of our own relationship with time. This experiential retreat will offer time for prayer, private reflection, creative expression, and discussion. No music or art experience is needed – all are welcome!

Please register by October 6. Once we have received your registration, we will send you an invoice for the retreat. Please know we have scholarships available; if you would like to make a request, email S. Carol Ann at sophia@mountosb.org. We strongly encourage you to add sophia@mountosb.org to your email contacts to ensure the delivery of emails regarding your retreat.
