I was born into a strong Catholic family, the fourth child of 10. I was raised in Hastings, Nebraska, and attended St. Cecilia’s Grade and High School. In 1954, I began college at Mount St. Scholastica and, after my sophomore year, entered Mount St. Scholastica Monastery.
I have had a variety of ministries. I taught grades 1-8 in elementary schools and then worked in the Kansas City Archdiocesan Office in religious education. Other Ministries included RCIA and Pastoral Assistant in several parishes. In 1993, I became Director of Initial Formation for my community. From 2003 to 2006, I was Director of Sophia Center, one of our sponsored ministries, and continue as a member of the staff. I enjoy playing the piano, tap dancing (on rare occasions) and embroidery.
