Sister Jennifer Halling, OSB

I grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas. I first learned about the Benedictine way of life while studying English at Benedictine College, but my path included working at the National Catholic Reporter Publishing Company, earning a master’s degree in pastoral counseling, living in St. Louis, and being a staff member at Shantivanam House of Prayer before I entered the Mount in 2016. I made my first vows in 2018 and currently is director of the Atchison oblate group and editor of Threshold and Benedictines magazines. I also write a blog, The Monastic Call, that is available at http://themonasticcall.blogspot.com.
