Sister Barbara has a background in zoology.  She has worked as an equine caretaker, a research technician and in veterinary services. She currently serves in the Development Department and works for Water by Woman, an organization that challenges women to maintain a lifetime household water filter and to share it with their neighbors in countries where drinkable water is not available.

She loves being active, yet silent, engaging and curious, prayerful and giving of self. She likes to read, sled, hike, kayak, ski and grow microgreens.
