Recently a woman told me that, since she was now 72 years old, she was required to take a minimum withdrawal from her IRA. The extra income from her IRA would have put her into the next higher tax bracket.  She was happy to learn that she could support Mount St. Scholastica and help herself at the same time. 

These donations are helpful to the donors and certainly to our community. We can use these funds to care for our elderly sisters or help support our ministries. Donors can designate their gift for a certain use or for general use to be determined by the community.
