CANCELLED: September 15, 2022 | Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. CDT
“We are invited to be God’s intimate companions and sharers of the divine nature. The issue is whether we’ll consent. That’s all we have to do, ultimately — allow ourselves to be loved unconditionally, and so be empowered to meet the real needs of everyone in the human family, past, present, and to come.” —Father Thomas Keating
Join us for a soulfully rich day of silent consent to the presence and activity of God in the deepest center of your being. This silent retreat will be supported by several periods of centering prayer, shared times of prayerful worship, and a time for discussion/questions regarding the method of centering prayer.
Those with experience of centering prayer, as well as those new to this prayer method, are welcome. A brief introductory overview of centering prayer will be offered at the beginning of the day.
Please register by September 12. After submitting your registration, we will send you an invoice for the retreat. Please know we have scholarships available, and if you would like to make a request, email S. Carol Ann at email@example.com. We strongly encourage you to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email contacts, to ensure the delivery of the source email containing the Zoom link and any additional materials or guidelines for the retreat, which will be emailed the day prior to the retreat. We look forward to seeing you online.
