Facilitated by S. Linda Zahner, OSB
Cost: $80 (includes lunch)

Although, interestingly, the woman at the well is never named, she offers us one of the most lengthy and in-depth personal encounters with Jesus in all of the Bible. The story of the woman at the well provides rich examples for us to reflect upon the themes of love, truth, redemption, and acceptance. In the story, Jesus is passing through Samaria on his way to Galilee and takes the opportunity to engage in conversation with a woman who was of a race traditionally despised by Jews. As Jesus reveals to her that He is the never-ending life-giving water she and we all seek, this holy encounter offers her transformation and eternal salvation that she seizes upon. Join us as we explore this beautiful encounter in-depth.

Please register by October 10. Once we have received your registration, we will send you an invoice for the retreat. Please know we have scholarships available; if you would like to make a request, email S. Carol Ann at sophia@mountosb.org. We strongly encourage you to add sophia@mountosb.org to your email contacts to ensure the delivery of emails regarding your retreat. We look forward to welcoming you.
