July 24 | Saturday 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. CST
facilitated by Renee Bhatia
At the end of New Seeds of Contemplation, Thomas Merton describes the playfulness of God and invites us to join in God’s “mysterious, cosmic dance.” Playfulness might not be on our list of attributes we use when describing God, but perhaps that is due to our own lack of play as well as our tendency to take ourselves too seriously. In this retreat, we will explore the playfulness of God through scripture, a variety of Christian writers, and our own experience. There will be time for personal reflection and play. You may wish to have art supplies, instruments, or space to dance nearby!
Please register by July 16. After submitting your registration, we will send you an invoice for the retreat. Please know we have scholarships available, and if you would like to make a request, email S. Carol Ann at email@example.com. We strongly encourage you to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email contacts, to ensure the delivery of the source email containing the Zoom link and any additional materials or guidelines for the retreat, which will be emailed the day prior to the retreat We look forward to seeing you online.
