“When the Soul wants to experience something, she throws out an image before her and steps into it.” —Meister Eckhardt

Art journaling is a practice that uses color and visual images rather than words alone to reflect on our experience, get in touch with our interior, and pay attention to God’s presence in our life. The art journal can be a place for Soul to “throw out an image,” a place to encounter our true self and the God in whose image we are made. We will explore various ways to keep an art journal, using art supplies you have or gather at home. No previous art experience or skill is necessary; curiosity and a playful spirit are helpful! A suggested supply list will be sent prior to the retreat.

Please register by October 26. Once we have received your registration, we will send you an invoice for the retreat. Please know we have scholarships available; if you would like to make a request, email S. Carol Ann at sophia@mountosb.org. We strongly encourage you to add sophia@mountosb.org to your email contacts to ensure the delivery of emails regarding your retreat. We look forward to welcoming you online.
