Sister Mary Beth Niehaus
I am as grounded as the Nemaha County soil I was raised on. The third of four children, I attended St. Peter and Paul parish school in Seneca, Ks, where I was taught by the Benedictine Sisters. Their influence on my life led me to Mount St. Scholastica convent in 1955. My service as an educator fed my love of learning and my delight in the world around me. As an elder in Dooley Center, I continue to meet the challenges of life and continue to grow in seeking God in my religious life through daily walks and being attentive to my sisters around me. My desire is to see God in all and be an instrument of peace, love, and joy.
