Sister Maria, ministries over the years have involved teaching, counseling, facilitating, supervising, perfecting, and serving as director of scholastics, the Sisters who have not yet made their perpetual monastic profession.

She spent many years with Catholic Charities in Kansas City, Kansas, as director of the school consultation program, a counselor in the marriage and family program, and school counseling consultant. 

She is an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals, and cheers for the Chiefs, as well.
