Sister Jo Ann Fellin
Marshfield, a small town in southern Missouri, was my home until I came to college at the Mount. Following graduation in 1955 with a major in mathematics, I taught for one year in St. Paul, MN before entering the community in 1956. After several years of teaching, I began graduate study at the University of Illinois and completed the Ph.D. degree in 1970. I taught mathematics at Benedictine College for 35 years and retired in 2004. I now manage the Monastery Goods Gift Shop. I enjoy artistic endeavors–watercolor painting and designing projects such as the panels in the monastery’s Heritage Room.
