Sister Bridget Dickason

I grew up in Kansas City, Ks. I am the sixth of eight children. I was educated by the Benedictine Sisters at Our Lady of Unity grade school; and after attending St. Joseph High School in Shawnee, I again was taught by them at Benedictine College in Atchison. I entered the community in 1986 after teaching high school English and religion at Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Ks. I entered in answer to a call to seek God on a deeper and more permanent level of my life. I stay because I believe the community challenges me to be my best self in serving God and others in need. I like fishing, pool, darts, and spending time with family and friends.
