Opportunities to Experience Monastic Life
Join us for a few days of Benedictine prayer and work (ora et labora)!
Each of the monastic days begin with early morning praise and worship with the sisters followed by a work schedule! Pray alongside the sisters and soak up the quiet atmosphere of the monastery while having time to meditate in one of our three chapels. Discerning women will want to stay awhile and reflect on God's Word and monastic surroundings.
"Who will dwell in your tent, O God; who will find rest upon your holy mountain?" (Rule of St. Benedict, Prologue 23)
We host several monastic experience days every year. You are always welcome here. Call or e-mail Sister Barbara for more information. You are our guest, so there is no cost to you. We look forward to sharing a morning, evening, weekend or week with you.
