Experience Monastic Life - Join us for Benedictine prayer and work (ora et labora).
Each of the monastic days begin with early morning praise and worship with the sisters followed by a work schedule. Pray alongside the sisters and soak up the quiet atmosphere of the monastery while having time to meditate in one of our three chapels. Discerning women will want to stay awhile and reflect on God's Word and monastic surroundings.
"Who will dwell in your tent, O God; who will find rest upon your holy mountain?" (Rule of St. Benedict, Prologue 23)
We are able to host several monastic experience days every year. You are always welcome here. Call or e-mail Sister Marcia for more information and to reserve a time. You are our guest, so there is no cost to you. We look forward to sharing a morning, evening, weekend or longer with you.
Discerner Day - What is God calling you to .... a life of prayer as a religious sister, being single, or married ...?
Explore your inner longings through prayerful contemplation and adoration in one of our three beautiful chapels. Discern with the help of a spiritual guide and listen with the ear of your heart as a presenter shares what life in a monastery is like for them and what drew them to Benedictine religious life.
