St. Scholastica Chapel Window
St. Felicitas (Felicity), one of the seven women mentioned in Eucharistic Prayer I of the Mass, carries palm branches as a sign of the martyr’s victory over death. This heroic woman of Carthage gave birth in prison just before facing death in the amphitheater, along with her friend St. Perpetua. She was attacked there by a raging ox, as shown in the lower portion of the window.
