St. Scholastica Chapel Window
St. Anastasia

St. Anastasia, one of the seven women mentioned in Eucharistic Prayer I of the Mass, holds a crown in her hand symbolizing her victory over death. The Roman noblewoman was martyred after actively aiding persecuted Christians and preaching. The sailboat in the lower portion of the window is associated with the legend that she was exiled in a ship and later burned to death.
