NEW! We have invited parents in our Sophia Center Adoptive and Foster Parent Group to share with us from their lived experience on a subject of their choice. In our schedule over the next number of weeks, you will find a wide variety of noteworthy topics. Although it might be too complicated to join us every week, perhaps you see a topic or two you don’t want to miss. You are welcome to join us whenever life gives you the time. We look to continue with these unique opportunities to share and would love to add others to the calendar to speak about their experience on an issue. Together we are more!

Upcoming Topics
  • Monday, March 1 – How Our Dreams for Our Children Evolve
  • Monday, March 8 – Using Residential Facilities
  • Monday, March 15 – Sharing Our Faith with Our Children
  • Monday, March 22 – Suggestions for Calming Techniques and Manipulatives

Being an adoptive or foster parent is wrapped in both wonder and challenge. Please join us to connect with other parents who share a similar experience! These weekly gatherings are opportunities to laugh with, share, and support one another. Every session includes prayer, education, and time for discussion. Here you can focus on what matters, and start the week off right! Please join us and become a part of this life-giving community. We are eager to get to know you!

Dates are schedule through May. March dates are: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Registration is open and on-going. Once registered, you will begin receiving weekly emails on Sunday with the Zoom meeting link and are encouraged to join as often as you are able.

As a free-will offering, no payment is required, but we are grateful for any amount contributed, if you are able. Click here if you would like to contribute now.
