LIVING HARMONIOUSLY: Benedictine Spirituality at Home (via Zoom)

  • by

Friday, September 25 | 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. CST

Hosted by Renee Bhatia

The Rule of St. Benedict that guides the sisters of Mount St. Scholastica, and all Benedictine communities, invites a life of harmonious living within ourselves, with one another, and with the earth. In this retreat, we will explore some of the foundations of Benedictine spirituality through the elements of music: rhythm, silence, melody, and harmony. This experiential retreat will offer time for prayer, reflection, creative expression, and discussion. We will conclude by writing our own Rule to guide us in our unique living situations.

Please have a journal or paper for writing during the retreat. Optional: some basic art supplies, and/or a musical instrument such as a drum or shaker.

Cost: $20. Please register by September 21st. Register by clicking below or call 913.360.6173.
