October 19 | 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. CST
facilitated by S. Linda Zahner, OSB
Join us for a 45-minute Guided Meditation session, focusing on the biblical story of Jonah in the belly of a great fish. Jonah fails to do God’s will–he is intolerant and not listening to God’s call. We will look more deeply at this story, seeking to recognize how and when we too at times might find ourselves in similar situations motivated by unkindness, biases, and prejudices, lacking the compassion to do God’s will. Our time together will include scripture, guided meditation, quiet reflection, and time for sharing. We will close the session in prayer.
Cost: This is a free-will offering. Donations of any amount are most appreciated.
Please register online by October 15th. A day prior to the session, you will receive an email including the Zoom meeting link along with any materials S. Linda wishes you to have ahead of time.
