Friday, April 2 | 9 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. CDT
Offered in partnership with Contemplative Outreach
Free-will offering (suggested contribution, $10)
Perhaps no other day in the Christian calendar lends itself to contemplative silence more than Good Friday. Men & women of all faiths desiring to deepen their prayer life will benefit from this one-day retreat, which will feature several periods of shared centering prayer online. Also, our centering prayer periods will be punctuated with readings from Scripture and Father Thomas Keating, Founder of Contemplative Outreach, keeping the cross in view throughout the day, as we revisit its meaning in our lives and in the life of the world. “To embrace the cross of Christ is to be willing to leave behind the self as a fixed point of reference. It is to die to all separation, even to a self that has been transformed.” T Keating.
Please register by March 25. Once your registration is completed, you should receive a confirmation email within a week. Zoom meeting links, will be emailed to you the day prior to the session. We look forward to seeing you online.
As a free-will offering, no payment is required, but we are grateful for any amount contributed, if you are able. Click here if you would like to contribute now.
