Mindfulness is a time-honored way of improving your well-being, happiness, and sense of fulfillment. It has been shown to reduce depression, anxiety, substance abuse and even pain.  Mindfulness tends to make our mind more balanced and flexible. Concentration may improve, we become more self-aware, and we understand our own mental processes better. We become less reactive.
