She cooked for the Sisters at various convents\, and at Lillis High School\, Kansas City\, for the students\, faculty and staff. She trained as a professional hair stylist and served as a medical social worker. She is the monastery’s volunteer coordinator and can frequently be found baking bread or other delicious treats. She has served on the community senate and a number of committees. In our first session we will learn a bit about Julian’s life and times and introduce some of the themes in Revelations of Divine Love. During the following three sessions we will look at specific passages from Revelations of Divine Love and use them as a guide for individual contemplation\, prayer\, and small and large group sharing.
