Throughout her extensive career\, Johnson has worked to articulate new images of God from within a framework of Christian orthodoxy. She particularly emphasizes the viewpoints of those who are marginalized within both the Church and society. Johnson’s theological reflections are deeply rooted in the lived experiences of diverse individuals\, especially amplifying voices that have historically been overlooked. \n\n\n\nIn her latest work\, Elizabeth Johnson considers planet Earth\, its beauty and endangered state\, through the lens of scripture.
