One couple told me that they set up a donor-advised fund so they could take use the tax advantages and have their assets for charity professionally managed. They find it an easy way to make donations/grants to Mount St. Scholastica and to the other charities they support.

These donations are helpful to the donors and certainly to our community. We can use these funds to care for our elderly sisters or help support our ministries. Donors can designate their gift for a certain use or for general use to be determined by the community.
