November 18 | Thursday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. CST
“We are invited to be God’s intimate companions and sharers of the divine nature.
The issue is whether we’ll consent. That’s all we have to do, ultimately–allow ourselves to be loved unconditionally, and so be empowered to meet the real needs of everyone in the human family, past, present, and to come.” —Father Thomas Keating
Join us for a soulfully rich day of silent consent to the presence and activity of God in the deepest center of your being. This silent retreat will be supported by several periods of centering prayer, shared times of prayerful worship, and a time for discussion/questions regarding the method of centering prayer.
Those with experience of centering prayer as well as those new to this prayer method are welcome. A brief introductory overview of centering prayer will be offered at the beginning of the day.
