February 24-25, 2023 | Friday, 3:00 p.m.-Saturday, 4:00 p.m., CST
“Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.” —John 15:5-6
“Abide” is a beautiful word, emotionally deep, spiritually demanding, expansive, rich and life-changing. To abide in Christ means to keep in constant close communion with Him, to lean on Him, rest in Him, pour out our hearts to Him and experience Him as our Fountain of life and strength. Spend time at Sophia Center reflecting on Jesus in your life as you enter into the holy season of Lent. There will be time for silence, lectio divina, reflection and sharing.
You are encouraged to register early as space is limited. Please register no later than February 16. Once we have received your registration, we will send you an invoice for the retreat. Please know we have scholarships available; if you would like to make a request, email S. Carol Ann at email@example.com. We strongly encourage you to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email contacts to ensure the delivery of emails regarding your retreat.
