Summer 2008

From the Development Director

You are our friends and partners and we thank you. You are our relatives and benefactors and without your help, support and encouragement we would not be able to expand our ministries or meet the changing needs of our community.
With your help we have been able to expand our ministries in our spirituality program, Sophia Center, and Keeler Women’s Center. We are planning to update and increase our offerings and uses of our original home on our grounds, St. Cecilia’s or Price Villa as it was called when the sisters purchased in 1877. With your help, we plan to build an addition and make needed repairs to our dependent monastery in Mineiros, Brazil to meet the needs of the growing community there.
In this issue you will find an account of your responses to our development efforts during the calendar year of 2007. Each year you help us in so many ways through your gifts of service, money, time and talent. This report is offered as a testimony to you and your work with us.

In gratitude for your kindness to us, we pray for each of you and your intentions daily in our Liturgy of the Hours. Each Wednesday our community Eucharist is offered for you and your loved ones. To request prayers you may call me at 913-360-6215 or e-mail me at patterson@mountosb.org or online. Please know that we have no greater way to thank you than to hold you and your loved ones in our prayers.
