Threshold - Summer 2006

From the Development Office

by Sister Mary Agnes Patterson, OSB

With our hearts full of gratitude, we thank you for your gifts to us this year. You, our families, friends, and benefactors, have given us of your time, talent, and treasure and, for your generosity, we thank God. In the following pages we have listed our donors from the calendar year 2005.

Because of your generosity, we continue to live out our mission to be a praying Benedictine community of women in Atchison. You have helped us to serve countless numbers of people in our various works of education, teaching both youth and adults, of retreat and spiritual formation, of pastoral ministry and counseling, of health care, and of our work in Brazil. We continue to support our sisters from Tanzania who are studying for degrees from Benedictine College. Another big project this year was the renovation of Dooley Center for our elder and infirm sisters so we can better meet their needs and provide better care.

Our gratitude is expressed in our daily prayer for you and your intentions. You are invited to contact us anytime you have a special need, and we will mention your need during our Liturgy of the Hours. Please know that we have no greater way to thank you than to hold you and your loved ones in our prayers.
