nudged in place
by an artist’s hand
Even a small section
does not hint
the whole image

You said once,
“People may question
pink and orange
side by side.
But look!
It works.”

So, too,
Here we are
welcoming
our

unlikely
togetherness.
Unique
each bit
Unique
the whole
Image of life
beyond our own
