Christmas 2011 Wish List

Keeler Women’s Center empowers women in the urban core of Kansas City. We serve many women who lack the basic necessities of life. We would share the following with those in need:

Gift cards (any amount)
• Any major gas station
• CVS or Walgreen’s
• Any major grocery store

Small items for our give-away basket
• Rosaries or religious items
• Personal care items
• Gloves
• Small knick-knacks or items that women could give as gifts
• Socks
• Jewelry
• Perfume samples
• Un-opened packages of make up

Blankets (new or used in good condition)

Coats (new or used in good condition for women or children or men)

Certificates to provide basic services:
• Car repairs
• Simple home repairs

Financial donations to help cover the cost of Sisters’ salaries

Professional volunteers to provide pro-bono legal assistance (especially family law)

Tutors to assist with Basic Literacy or Easy English

20 matching chairs, new or gently, used for a large meeting room
