The Benedictine Sisters have always depended upon the generosity of our
donors, friends and relatives. You can assist the sisters and their
ministries by making a gift to Mount St. Scholastica, a 501c3 not-for-profit
corporation and your gifts are tax deductible.

Ways to Give: 
Gift
of Cash: The most common way to give is to simply write a check
to Mount St. Scholastica. Cash gifts are deductible and the sisters
provide a receipt as required by the IRS for any gift of $250 or greater.

Legal Language for Bequests for Unrestricted Bequests I give, devise and bequest to Mount St. Scholastica, Atchison, Kansas ( ____ % of my estate OR the sum of $_____ OR the residue of my estate ) under this will after the deductions of all debts, funeral expenses, and administration expenses, but before the deduction of any death, inheritance or estate taxes, it being my intention to exonerate this bequest from contributing to the payment of any such taxes. Legal Language for Bequests for Restricted Bequests I give, devise and bequest to Mount St. Scholastica, Atchison, Kansas ( ____ % of my estate OR the sum of $_____ OR the residue of my estate ) with the instruction that these funds be used for ________________________________ provided however, that should changing circumstances render this use of funds no longer practical or desirable, the sisters of Mount St. Scholastica may make such changes in their use as it deems advisable. |
