September 2005 at the Mount

September 19: Sister Linda Herndon (left) accompanied Sister Lorene Judge to the Benedictine College Golf Tournament dinner and roast honoring Benedictine College football coach Larry Wilcox. Sister Lorene and her blood sister, Sister Gervase were pictured on the Benedictine College 2004 football schedule poster.

September 21: Stephanie Saldana (left) spoke to the community on the topic
In Seeking the Other We Discover Ourselves: Deepening the Christian Dialogue with Islam. She is shown here with Sisters Regina Hansen, Laura Haug, and Paula Howard who all spent time in the Middle East.



September 24: Sr. Mary Collins (left) received the Fidelis Award for her service to Maur Hill - Mount Academy. Sister Anne Shepard, Prioress, congratulates her.

September 25: Fellin lecture presenter, Sr. Diane Couture, SSJ and Sr. Jo Ann Fellin


September 25: The confirmation class from St. Bede Parish in Kelly, Kansas, spent the day at the Mount. Sister Mary Beth Niehaus (left) is the Pastoral Associate at the parish.


September 30: The Benedictine College men's basketball team joined the sisters for Evening Praise and supper. We had a great evening meeting these young men.
