Momentos de Graças

Como são certos os planos de Deus?
Não são imprecisos como os seus.
Tudo aos poucos acontece.
É atendida em tempo cada prece.

Aqui estou há uma semana
E as graças divinas a mim emanam.
Como é bom sentir a hospitalidade
Correr nas veias dessa comunidade.

Nesses lugar todas as idades
Promovem a paz e a felicidade.
Bento, Escolástica e as fundadoras
Olham dos céus essas criaturas.

Vamos louvar e agradecer;
A esse grupo eu pertencer.
Que a Virgem Santa nos proteja
E com ele cante toda a Igreja.

Moments of Grace

How certain are the plans of God?
They are not imprecise like ours.
All happens little by little.
Every prayer is answered in good time.

Here I have been for one week
And divine grace shines on me.
How good it is to feel hospitality
As it runs through the veins of this community.

In this place, people of all ages
Promote peace and happiness.
Benedict, Scholastica, and our founders
Look from heaven on these beings.

Let us give praise and give thanks;
From this group to whom I belong.
May the Holy Virgin protect us
And may the whole Church pray with us.
